We spent one freezing night at Camp Cherokee with some families from church. The kids had a blast, loved hanging out with their friends, kayaking, cooking smores, and riding the pontoon boat. For those that know me well, camping is not my thing. Fortunately they had a few "closed" cabins with their own bathrooms! Still no heat and it was a cold 40 degrees on Saturday morning. It was a good time of fellowship and great fun getting to know the other families. We were there for dinner on Friday until after dinner on Saturday. Here are a few pictures.

Warming up on Saturday morning.
Hannah had a rough welcoming party when we arrived. There was a little beagle dog that lives at the camp. I guess he liked Hannah and figured she was about his size. He ran up to her, knocked her down, pinned her down with his paws and licked her face. Needless to say, Hannah was not pleased and Jacob ran screaming to his Daddy. And you wonder why my kids don't like dogs?!?!

Jacob was so excited to ride on the canoe, he even helped paddle.

Abby and some new friends. The girls on each end are from our church, Lillie and Lucy.

Abby is one of the girls out there riding in her own kayak!
Boat ride home - everyone was exhausted.
